I will never understand homophobia. Specially in this day and age. Everyone, whether they want to or not, knows and regularly comes in contact with a member of the LGBTQ community and does anything bad ever come of it? No. When we were at pride there were a few of those right wing super crazy christian assholes with megaphones and ‘GOD HATES FAGS’ signs yelling at all of us about how we’re going to hell and we should burn for our sins and all of this bullshit. Right smack dab in the middle of a crowd of 100,000 GLBTQ people and their friends and family. All who had a damn good reason to beat the shit out of them and be hateful right back. But did anyone do ANY thing bad or harmful to them? No. Instead, couples gathered around them and started kissing in protest, fighting back with love. And WE’RE the terrible ones? We’re the ones going to hell? We’re the ones god hates? Yeah, sure.
